6 Stars Who Were Not Celebrated At The 59th Grammy Awards Ceremony


The 59th Grammy awards was quite an unforgettable event with Adele receiving the major awards and a pregnant Beyonce stealing the show with her performance, a few stars went home empty handed.

1 Rihanna

She lost out in the Record of the Year to Adele, in the Best R&B Performance category to Beyonce’s sister, Solange, as well as in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category lost to Twenty One Pilots.
She also lost to  Beyonce  who received the Best Urban Contemporary Album award for Lemonade, while Drake, who was in Manchester, UK, was awarded the Best Rap/Sung Performance gong.
2 Justin Bieber

He lost in all five categories.  The god of Biebers may have lost out in theAlbum of the Year, Best Pop Vocal, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance categories.
Bieber was not at the the 59th Grammy Awards ceremony.
3. Kanye West

Kanye West like Justin Beiber was not at the 59th Grammy awards and he lost out to Chance the Rapper in the Best Rap Album category.
He was nominated twice in the Best Rap/Sung Performance category and still got no win.
He was also nominated twice in the Best Rap Song category but lost out to Drake there.
4. DJ Khaled

DJ Khaled lost in the one category he was nominated, Best Rap Album, to Chance.
5.

His song was among the biggest of 2016.
‘I Took A Pill in Ibiza’ was a hit but it lost out to  ‘Hello’ by Adele.
6. Coldplay

The superstar group lost the Best Music Video award category to Beyonce’s ‘Formation’.
