'I never knew the man I married' Hubby asked strangers online to rate naked pics of himself… then got me arrested for ‘revenge porn’

Mum-of-three Cindy Dabbs was nabbed by cops in front of her crying kids after ex-husband James uploaded x-rated snaps online and blamed her for it

DUMPED by her ­husband for another woman, Cindy Dabbs thought things could not get any worse.

Then she discovered he had been taking pornographic snaps of himself in the family home and posting them online under X-rated pseudonyms.

Yet when she confronted him, instead of apologising he got her ARRESTED in front of her crying children, claiming it was revenge porn, and heartlessly left her locked in a police cell on New Year’s Eve.
Now cleared of all charges, a shocked Cindy, 39, says: “Being left for another woman is one thing.
“But being torn from your screaming children by police on New Year’s Eve and arrested for something you didn’t do . . . it’s a nightmare I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
“Looking back it’s like I never knew the man I married.”

Cindy’s ordeal began in September 2015 when husband James, 31 — stepdad to her three kids — announced their ten-year marriage was over.
He claimed he had met someone in a nightclub four days before and fallen in love.
Cindy was so shell-shocked she took sick leave from her carers job and was prescribed anti-depressants.
In December that year she heard rumours he had moved in with his new girlfriend and decided to find out if he had been cheating longer than he claimed.
Cindy, who is now a full-time mum, says: “He always used the same username for everything, so I opened up the laptop and searched for it on Twitter, Facebook and everything I could think of.

“Suddenly all these Twitter accounts flashed up. There were dirty pictures of a man’s private parts and short pornographic videos.
“I was about to turn it off, ­embarrassed and disgusted, when I saw my son’s school uniform over a chair in the background. My heart fell into my boots.
“I went into denial. There was no way my James would ever do ­anything like that.
“But curiosity got the better of me and I looked at the next lot of ­pictures too.
“There in front of me were my bathroom tiles in the ­background. In the other, our duvet cover. It was hard not to be sick.”

I was disgusted. My heart just fell into my boots

Cindy believes that in total there were nine Twitter accounts and 13 others on mobile chat app Kik under crude guises such as guythatwantsit and ratemywand.
Cindy, of Sheerness, Kent, says: “I was horrified when I read the ­comments. Looking at the dates and times, everything suddenly fell into place.
“James hadn’t been on Facebook, as I had thought, all those nights and he hadn’t been upstairs having a long, hot soak in the bath.
“He was making porn in our ­bathroom then snuggling up on the sofa with me, begging strangers to ‘ratehiswand’ on his mobile phone while I sat oblivious.
“Absolutely disgusted, I sent him a text message with screen shots of the filthy pictures.

He had been posting explicit pictures of himself online and asking strangers to rate them 

“ ‘U R DISGUSTING’ I wrote. As with all of the other messages since he left, James didn’t reply.
“I decided to send them to his girlfriend and two of his friends to show him in his true light.”
The next day Cindy vowed to make a fresh start for the sake of her three boys from a previous relationship, and bought a family ticket to a New Year’s Eve party.
But, behind Cindy’s back, ­fearing his dirty secret was about to be rumbled, James told his new girlfriend his wife had hacked his phone and was ­circulating private pictures.
