The board of Premier League club
Arsenal have started discussions with Juventus coach Massimiliano
Allegri over the possibility of him replacing current gaffer Arsene
Wenger at the Emirates stadium.
Arsene Wenger's two decades reign of
handling the Gunners could come to an end at the end of the current
season in the Premier League and the club wants an experienced tactician
that will replace the Frenchman.
The
67-year-old manager is yet to be offered an extension amid suggestions
that he will stand aside and Allegri’s representatives have been locked
in talks with Arsenal hierarchy.
According to the report, Arsenal board and Allegri's representatives
have not reached an agreement but the discussions are in advanced stage.
Meanwhile, Juventus are on course for a hat trick of Serie A titles
under Allegri who has until March 2017 to inform the Italian giants
about his plans for next season.
