Karan Johar and Salman Khan to co-produce film starring Akshay Kumar

Director Karan Johar took to Twitter to announce his most ambitious project with actors he considers more than friends.
Joining forces with Salman Khan’s production house Salman Khan Ffilms, the duo will be producing a yet to be titled venture, which will be directed by Anurag Singh and will star Akshay Kumar in the lead.
The movie is likely to be based on the historical battle of Sargarhi. Now, this does leave us baffled as there are already two projects in the pipline that explore the same story. One being Ajay Devgn’s ‘Sons of Sardaar’, and the other being Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Sargarhi’ starring Randeep Hooda.
The movie is slated for a 2018 release. Further details on the announcement are awaited.
