Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt broke up when Jolie filed for divorce on Sept. 19, 2016. The couple had been together for 12 years, but they were only married for two years, and they share six children. Jolie is taking the divorce very seriously – she hired celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to rep her—the same lawyer who represented Johnny Depp in his devastating divorce from Amber Heard.
