Under Buhari, no APC member is guilty - Omokri

In the almost two years of President Muhammadu Buhari, Omokri says members of the APC have been shielded from corruption trial
- Omokri mentioned Rotimi Amaechi and Lawal Bachir, both in the Buhari administration, as those that have been indicted
Special assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan on new media, Reno Omokri, has come for President Muhammadu Buhari again over the way corruption is tackled in Nigeria.
Under Buhari, no APC member is guilty - Omokri
Omokri, the former aide to President Jonathan, wondered why Buhari was shielding APC members
According to Omokri, President Buhari has two legal systems, one for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the other for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Nigerians.
Omokri wondered why under Buhari, it is only the members of the PDP that are corrupt or tried for corruption while all those accused of the same offence in the APC are either freed or declared innocent
“Under President Muhammadu Buhari Nigeria practises a dual legal system where APC politicians are innocent until proven guilty while PDP politicians are guilty until proven innocent.
He mentioned Rotimi Amaechi, the transport minister under Buhari, as well as Lawal Babachir, the secretary to the government of the federation, who was recently indicted by the Senate.
“If you doubt me, then ask Amaechi and Babachir who are attending Federal Executive Council meetings while FFK and Olisa Metuh are in and out of court. Alas!” He said.
Omokri further wondered why it is very quick for the anti-graft agencies to go after members of the opposition party while foot-dragging on cases that concern members of the APC.
He said: “It didn't take EFCC and DSS this long to investigate and arrest PDP politicians. Why the foot dragging with Babachir the Baba of IDP funds?

“Is there one rule for Babachir and another rule for the perceived enemies of President Buhari?
“One would think that a man accused of stealing from IDPs would be expeditiously investigated and tried. Or is it a case of when I see the broom I will pass over?”
