Torino
sporting director Gianluca Petrachi has confirmed Arsenal made a club
record €65 million (£55.7m) bid for star striker Andrea Belotti.
Petrachi also revealed that the bid was swiftly rejected as it did not meet the striker's release clause of €100m (£85.7m).

Torino striker Andrea Belotti
Belotti
has scored 13 league goals for Torino so far this season with Mauro
Icardi of Inter Milan on 14 goals the only one to have scored more this
season.
"Yes, we received the offer, but it does not reflect the value of the player," Petrachi replied when asked about Arsenal's interest by Sky Italia.
"Anyway, he is going nowhere for now. We want to enjoy him, then we'll see what happens.
