A baby which was reportedly
abandoned by its mother at the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway recently, has
been picked up by some well meaning Nigerians.

to a Facebook user identified as Emmanuel Jolly, who shared the story
on his Facebook page, the baby was found by the Lagos-Abeokuta
expressway, on the morning of January 7.
The mother was nowhere in sight by the
time some kindhearted people came to the baby's rescue, picking him up
and wrapping him up in a duvet.

Why would a mother do this?
